The coordinator will be responsible for helping develop and implement the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy action plan to reduce nitrogen and phosphorous delivery to Iowa’s rivers, lakes and streams.  The position will also lead outreach and education efforts to the public, farmers, service providers, landowners and partners about the initiative and will be responsible to organize field days and watershed demonstrations.  In addition, the coordinator will work on special watershed projects and help develop tracking and accountability measures to demonstrate nutrient reduction.
